The goal of the investment was to increase the use of renewable energy in the building and reduce CO₂ emissions. These targets were achieved by utilizing cooling energy from the building’s cooling system through heat pumps for heating, installing air-to-water heat pumps alongside the existing district heating system, and enhancing demand-based ventilation control. In addition, the building’s automation system was upgraded to enable demand response capabilities.
